As the economic future of Wakatū grows we need confident and educated people to guide our development and protect our assets. We actively develop the capability of our whānau through education programmes, training, scholarships and wānanga.
Wakatū tertiary education scholarships help our owners to develop their skills for the benefit of our collective future.
The Wakatū Associate Directorship Scheme gives owners experience in the governance of Wakatū Incorporation, with a view to them contributing to the future leadership of our organisation.
Our wānanga are designed to invest in the personal and cultural development of our youth, through self-motivation, outdoor recreation and traditional values.
